"We would clearly choose AGILOX again," says hansgrohe.
For hansgrohe, it was a particular concern as well as a requirement that an AMR adapts to their processes. After a long period of evaluation and a total of three AMR manufacturers to choose from, the decision was clearly made in favor of AGILOX.
Hansgrohe is a manufacturer of sanitary products and is known for its two brands hansgrohe and Axor. The Hansgrohe Group stands for innovation, design, and quality for facilities in the bathroom and kitchen industry. The Axor design brand offers everything the heart desires for luxurious bathrooms and kitchens.
In our joint success story, the company talks about the experience of process optimization in their intralogistics and the implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robots in existing processes. During the long project planning phase, it was particularly important for Hansgrohe to find a supplier of driverless transport systems that could integrate its product most easily into existing processes and, of course, the AMRs should be also easy to operate. Another advantage of the AGILOX AMRs is the X-SWARM Technology, which enables the AMRs to communicate with each other, thus optimizing the logistics processes in the company by means of highly intelligent technology.
Vanessa Podak, logistics planning specialist at the Offenburg site, explains to us why AMRs from AGILOX the deciding factor for hansgrohe were: "Our requirements for the AGILOX fleet were the quick and easy integration of the automated guided vehicles into our existing processes, because we didn't want to reinvent anything or adapt our processes to the fleet, but rather map the existing processes with the automated fleet."
The current AGILOX fleet at hansgrohe consists of a total of five AMRs that cover a total distance of approximately 3,000 km per month and transport about 13,000 pallets per month. By analyzing the data with the help of AGILOX Analytics, the existing processes can be continuously optimized.
